Set up your search as in the image below. Put your keyword search in the first box. In the second box, type in: nurs* . . . then use the right-hand menu to select: SO Publication Name. That will limit your search to only journals with the word Nurse or Nursing in their name
If that search doesn't give you enough results, you have a couple of options:
1. Try broadening your search. If, for example, your topic is using music therapy to treat pain management in females aged 12-18 years old, then there might not be anything written in nursing journals about that very specific topic. So try broadening your search--change it to find articles about the more general topic of pain management and music therapy instead.
2. Follow this guide, which will help you find articles from other types of medical journals besides nursing journals. When conducting research and doing professional reading, nurses certainly use other types of medical journals. If you cannot find your topic in a nursing journal, consider using other types of trustworthy, scholarly journals instead.
