Q. I am getting get a SAML error message when I try to access Library resources.

If you are getting the following error message when you try to access Library resources:
SAMLRequest or SAMLResponse must be present as query string parameters in HTTP request for SAML Redirect binding.

You may be encountering a firewall issue, particularly if you are on a corporate or military network. 

Please try the following: 

Guest Login
Use this guest login and sign in with your last name and UMGC student or employee ID number.  Then try accessing the library resources again.  Does that work?  If so, you may need to use this guest login whenever you encounter that SAML error message.

Guest Login does not work?
