In O'Reilly, if it appears that you can only see the first paragraph or two of the chapter, look all the way over to the far right side of the screen for the scroll bar.
Note that you can also use your mouse wheel or DOWN arrow key to scroll. If your computer has a touch screen, you can also scroll directly on the screen.
