Research Assistant does tend to choose, for its top-five sources, articles and ebooks that are not full-text in our library. The company that created Research Assistant is aware of this problem, and the library hopes that it's fixed before long.

In the meantime, the library honestly advises you to ignore top-five sources that are not full-text. Move on from them and use other features of Research Assistant that are less problematic:

  • Read the Overview that Research Assistant wrote, to add to your general knowledge about your topic.
  • Look at the Related Research Questions suggested by Research Assistant--they can help give you ideas and keywords for further research.
  • To find articles and ebooks that primarily are full text, click the View More Results button in Research Assistant--you'll be taken into regular OneSearch, where you should see a list of sources on your topic: most of those will be full text.
