Set up - do this first:
Before you can download and open a full ebook, you need to do the following:
- Create a free MyEBSCO account, and
- Download and install the Thorium Reader.
To download an EBSCO ebook to your computer:

- You can also watch this video tutorial.
- NOTE: when you download an ebook, EBSCO will give you a passphrase that you will need to copy and paste into the Thorium reader to allow access.

Other options:
You can do the following without having to go through the steps above:
- Read the book online.
Click the Access now (ebook) button, or if available, click Access options and select either PDF or EPUB full text. You can read the book online without downloading it.
- Download individual chapters.
When you read the book online, you can also download individual chapters. Look for the download icons next to the individual chapters in the right column. (Note there may be limits on the number of pages you can download at a single time.)
